「We were given a room key upon check in and, when we returned much later, someone else had been checked into that room. It’s always an awkward moment when you walk into someone else’s room while they’re sleeping at 1 AM. No amenities to speak of (vending, ice machine bucket, etc.). Furnishings were decent, pillows were terribly hard. Room was clean but very very loud. Not a great part of town. We definitely will seek alternate accommodations next time.」

「Never Stayed...FILTHY We arrived Friday excited for a great weekend getaway, but unfortunately our experience started off terribly. When we arrived to check in, our room was not ready. We were told it would be prepared while we were out, and since our key wasn’t working, staff told us they would let us into the room when we returned. When we first saw the room, it was absolutely disgusting. It honestly looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. I didn’t even want to put our belongings down....

「The only contact I had with staff was through a small bank teller type window while I remained outside. The first thing the clerk demanded was a fifty dollar cash deposit. I guess that should have been my notice this was not the kind of place you would visit with family. The motel looks like something from an old 1960 movie set. The room entrance door had a strong spring which would prevent a child from escaping in an emergency. The floor felt sticky and a few of the light switches did...
