"If you're passing through and just need to sleep, okay. While I was only there 1 night, the room made my eyes and nose sting slightly. Yes, the place is historic, but really needs serious maintenance. Someone also tried the door handle in the middle of the night. "

"Great stay. Clean rooms, great location. The breakfast was very good as well. Front desk associate very welcoming and pleasant. Great place to stay when passing through."

"Room was clean and the staff friendly. Had an issue in our room with something making a really loud noise repeatedly. There was no way we would be able to sleep through it. Requested a new room, had to send the manager a video of the noise, which was fine. The room that were moved to was the next room over. We were told there were zero other rooms as they were completely booked. On a Wednesday. I do not believe that was true. During our stay, we heard 2 other people in the hallway and saw 5 other guests at breakfast (which we had looked at the room at 730 am and 8 am). Prime breakfast time and a fully booked hotel had 5 guests for breakfast. Not likely. But anyway, the noise did not continue throughout the night but we did hear it the next morning. But the fan/heat didn't work properly in the new room. Overall not a great experience and I will not return. "

"Great location for visiting Dartmouth college. Nice rooms and good downstair lounge bar. Breakfast is included but this just is juice, coffee a muffin and yoghurt. Free chilled water on each landing for guests which was very helpful."

"I genuinely enjoyed my stay from the beautiful atrium with a koi pond to enjoy a cocktail or your complimentary buffet breakfast. The indoor pool & hot tub was very pleasant. There is also a massage chair free to use. Its very conveniently located just off the highway & surrounded by anything you could possibly need for food, shopping & great walking/hiking to beautiful falls nearby. The staff was very knowledgeable & helpful with all my needs. "

"Did not use the pool and the hotel was a mess. It is currently under construction. If we had known this we would have found a different place to stay. Room heat did not work, ceiling light did not work, phone in room did not work and the tv kept turning off and on "
