「This was a very positive experience. The hotel seemed newer than most and was very clean, bright and quiet. Our dogs came and the staff were very accommodating and kind. 」

「Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The Inn itself is lovely, with a big fireplace, fountain, and dining room. Complimentary breakfast was also very good.」

「Breakfast was great. Disappointed there was no fridge in the room, no extra blankets, it did get down to 28 degrees, also no extra towels, 1 of each for each of us. At almost $200.00 a night it was disappointing. Thank you Ellen Clark 」

「Dowds' Country Inn was beautiful and picturesque, and charming in that way that only old buildings can be. The sign was very difficult to read at night, but once we found the place, we loved it. Just beyond the inn parking lot you could see a beautiful herb and vegetable garden. The entryway was beautiful and inviting. My partner and I entered the lobby and found it warmly lit, with a sign expressing regrets that no one could be there to greet us (we were arriving late at night). On the front...

「We were welcomed by John when we checked in. It was our 25th anniversary and in our room was the sweetest card and balloons to honor the occasion. So extremely thoughtful! The room was adorable and very comfortable. It had been outfitted with all the amenities you can think of…pastries and snacks, board games, toiletries, and a full kitchen. The only thing I regret is not staying longer in this charming B and B! We will absolutely be back when we visit Woodstock!」
