“I would like to start by saying make sure you are booking the right house. They have a cabin and a cottage. The review says this place is on a lake and they have a pond. Once arriving I found out the pond was exclusively for the cottage. We booked for 5 nights Once walking in everything changed. The restroom smells of mildew and there was mold on the shower curtain. The second day I got sick when I entered the restroom. Between the shower curtain and the bathroom rug one of them had a very……

“The house was very nice and looked just like the pictures. It was incredibly clean and the host did a great job of making it hospitable. My group loved the upstairs deck and spent a good chunk of our time there in the evenings.”

“Cabin was perfect. Clear precise and easy communication throughout. Clean and exactly as described. Took my 3 sons (14,12,7) for Memorial Day weekend. Cabin is easy driving distance to great fishing and hiking. We had such a great time and will 100% be returning”

“The cabin is gorgeous. We loved the big windows and the telescope was a nice touch. The kitchen is spacious with everything you might need. The decor was adorable. Very secluded and quiet with a beautiful view.Unfortunately, while basic housekeeping was done (bedding and towels were clean, there were no bugs) there were some major issues that prevented us from fully enjoying our stay. The hot tub, which was one of the main reasons we chose this cabin, had clearly not been cleaned in some time as……

“Beautiful brand new home. Gorgeous decor and views. Extremely well stocked with spices, coffee, oil, kitchen supplies, games, etc. Also well stocked for children (pack n play, kids plates and utensils, sound machines in all rooms, high chair). Note, it is a 12-15 minute drive (definitely not a walk) to and from the wintergreen lifts / resorts. There are not many restaurants at wintergreen or nearby so plan on bringing groceries to cook. Other than that, gorgeous and comfy home! ”

“Communication with the host was great. It was in a beautiful private setting that was the perfect location for us, halfway home from the beach. We loved the screened in porch, very relaxing!”

“The Hut tub was the best! Everything was working properly. The hot tub was clean and so convenient right out on the deck. The front porch was out favorite. The rockers out there were nice. It would be nice if there were comfortable chairs on the back patio to be able to sit and visit and hang out. Overall everything was wonderful. And very close to Devils Backbone and other brew places. It was a great stay!”
