The room was not only dirty, it was disgusting. The area around the bathroom had not been cleaned in what appeared to be a very long time. There were dark nasty stains on the bathroom walls, light switches, around the toilet and shower. There was chunky crud with hairs sticking to it around the baseboards and sink trim area. I regret (and am a bit embarrassed) not moving to another hotel or even telling the front desk. I just had the sinking feeling that another room would have had even more issues and the front desk staff didn’t seem particularly receptive to input. I was in the area for a funeral, so I wasn’t looking for much and didn’t have the emotional energy to engage in anything that could be construed as conflict. I just needed a budget motel to get me through the weekend. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room positives were a working AC unit and soft, comfortable bed. Check in was easy and I felt safe enough.

Worst motel ever, very unclean pictures are very deceiving. Bedding was burnt and stained. Lady at the front desk was very nice though!

Went to check in at 5, no staff was on campus, their friend told me that they would be back in 10 minutes. We just came back later. Most of the staff were nice enough though. The room AC barely worked and it was so humid there was mildew everywhere and the floors were slick. Holes in the walls and doors. The safety lock barely worked. The grounds had trash everywhere and mattresses were stacked in the breezeways and on the outside. If you are staying with pets, there was no where safe to walk them to potty. The price was cheap but still high for the condition.

I was subjected to horrible treatment as soon as i arrived. The staff was horrible and the room was just as bad. The bugs were just as bad as the staff. On top of all that, i was charged for a stay, and i didnt even stay there. I canceled at the propeerty and yet they stll charged my card. A total ripoff all inall.

This room was just horrible. Floor dirty with chunks of something stuck in places, wall had holes and or paint literally peeling off, toilet didnt flush had to open the top to wiggle the water thing to fill, hair in the shower drain, bed sheets had alot of burn holes. TV was all grainy on all channels. If indidnt travel for 15 hrs that day, i would of left. Area is especially sketchy.

The room was tidy. The floor was dirty, but the room was critter free. Unfortunately, the mini-refrigerator still had items from the previous occupant and the items had spoiled and mold had grown inside. I used my cleaning supplies to remove the mold and wipe it down. I left baking soda inside to remove any lingering odors.

Good Stay for working trave at an Affordable Value

I travel to Alexandria frequently for work & stay at the Motel 6-Studio 6 on McArthur Drive. Rooms are spacious, clean & sanitized. It gives off cozy vibes like an extended-stay home away from home on an affordable budget. Can't beat the price! Parking lot has lots of lights & security cameras. It's easier to see your vehicle & you feel safe during your stay. The managers & staff arewell approachable, people-oriented, children-friendly & are always available to help you address your concerns. I enjoy those random conversations over hot coffee. Located close to everything...convenient stores, shopping, restaurants, hospitals, dental offices & the like. On those long tired days, when you just don't feel like dining-out, you can order in from the menu provided in your room.

Never again

1st room: bed wasn’t made, room hadn’t been cleaned 2nd room: filthy 3rd room: BLOOD stains on the pillows! Our only other option was to sleep in our car. So we slept in our clothes on top of the blankets and used the towels that we had to go get(none in the room) as a pillow. The ONLY good thing was that the staff refunded us our money for the 4 nights we had originally reserved.
