"The cottage was fine for a couple of nights with the grandchildren, everything is close by & an easy walk to shops & beach. The house could do with a bit of TLC and the upstairs loo seat was missing (apparently the previous guests had an accident) & it wasn't replaced during our stay but this didn't cause us a problem. Beds were comfortable & there is plenty of hot water."

"The lodge was amazing, everything you could possibly need and more. Great quality furniture and fittings. Extremely clean and a sumptuous king bed. Very comfortable lodge. The walks around the reserve were great, loved the chickens, very cheeky! Will definitely be going back it’s a great relaxing hideaway. Thank you Barbara and Luke."

"Witham Cottage is a lovely small cottage with small windows and a super stable door. It is immaculate and very comfy. It is surrounded by the most well kept country gardens I have ever seen. There are several sitting out areas with tables and chairs complete with large bronze deer and all illuminated at night. Kathy and Alan the owners are lovely. This is the best cottage and garden we have ever stayed in. Thank you"

"We booked for the weekend with family members to celebrate a 70th birthday. On arrival, we were amazed at the beautiful house and were very impressed with the high spec furnishings and sizes of the rooms. The bedrooms were so spacious and the quality again was excellent with plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The hot tub was amazing and extremely clean as was the whole house. We all had an amazing stay and will certainly be booking again"

"A lovely house which was perfect for our short family break. The house is completed to a high spec and the garden is very well maintained. The bar area is a bonus and a really nice area for socialising. Location was good to go to beaches and other local areas. Most things are within a 10-15 minute drive. Kids and grandparents really enjoyed the stay."

"Myself, my partner Andy and our dog Willow stayed Friday to Sunday at the chickens coop and we had the most relaxing & enjoyable time. Andy enjoyed doing a bit of fishing at the lake, catching a good sized carp, whilst I enjoyed walking around it with the dog. The place itself is just gorgeous, with free roaming chickens etc that you can feed. The stay in the coop was perfect - it was so peaceful and homely. "The bungalow was clean & tidy with appliances to use to help with our time there. The meadow was beautiful to sit in at sunrise & sunset. The beach was close by which the kids enjoyed but due to having to cut our stay up there short they didst get a chance to see butlins or the attractions around. Hopefully can stay again & they can stay longer to enjoy fully . Many thanks for the lovely stay "
