A Delight

L'Atelier is delightful and a high quality conversion. The decor was creative and admirable. The facilities were excellent. Communications with the family were easy and the location was good for learning about the wines of France ( around Colmar) or Germany ( Kaiserstuhl). Pretty villages, a majestic river nearbye all made for a fine stay. L'Atelier is a testament of love from the family to their Grandfather.

L'Atelier de notre Grand-Père "This gîte is delightful! It is the perfect combination of old and new, with all the conveniences - and a huge spa! We had travelled for 2 days from Australia by the time we arrived, and were exhausted and frayed. Kids jumped in the spa and everyone was immediately more relaxed! Very friendly and helpful hosts who responded quickly both before and during our stay. Location is great, very easy to get around Alsace and across to Freiburg/explore some of the southern Black Forest - you will need a car. Couple of things to note: 1. If you are staying more than a couple of nights make sure that you put toilet paper and laundry detergent on your list (enough is provided to start) 2. Currently there are construction works on the road outside. We are early risers so this didn't affect us at all, but if you like to sleep in then it would be worth checking prior to booking to see if this is complete. Overall, highly recommend :)"

L'Atelier de notre Grand-Père "Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement. La maison nous a été présentée entièrement, avec les instructions pour le jacuzzi. Hôte très agréable et réactif. Des travaux ont eu lieu devant l'entrée et l'hôte a pris le temps de nous en informer. Nous n'avons rien eu à redire durant notre séjour. Tout le matériel est présent. Un grand espace pour cuisiner à 5. Une serviette supplémentaire est incluse pour le jacuzzi. Nous reviendrons à coup sûr ! ??????"

Schlüsselübergabe hat super geklappt, waren total verständnisvoll, immer schnell erreichbar bei fragen oder wünschen Unterkunft echt empfehlenswert.. würden nochmals kommen! Gut ausgestattete Küche, Matratzen waren vielleicht ein bisschen zu hart für meinen Geschmack..aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau.. Waschmaschine sogar dabei, auch die eigene Einfahrt.. einfach klasse! Haben uns direkt wie zuhause gefühlt! Und der Whirlpool war echt das beste..viel Platz ! Super Unterkunft für einen Mädels Urlaub?? Vorort gibt es paar Minuten entfernt eine Bowlinghalle, und der nächste Lebensmittelladen ist 7min Autofahrt entfernt.. ein Besuch nach colmar in die Stadt ist auch sehenswert (25min fahrt) Wir sind sehr zufrieden! Vielen Dank für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt ??"

Per WA-Nachrichten hatten wir immer super Kontakt und haben bei Fragen und Wünschen nie lange warten müssten. Alles in allem würden Wir jederzeit wieder kommen . Wir hatten ein super schönes Wochenende mit Freunden und der Whirlpool ist natürlich mit das Highlight. Danke für diese schöne Zeit."

L'Atelier de notre Grand-Père "Seb's home has a great story which he can share with you once you reserve his home. It's super new and clean and has ample space for many people. We felt like we were at home and spread out as needed. After returning from a day visiting Christmas markets, we took some time to refresh in the jacuzzi which was fantastic. The location is near a UNESCO World Heritage site and there are two great markets nearby, Lidl and Intermarche. If you are interested in also visiting Germany, this home is literally a 3 minute drive from Breisach, Germany. Location is excellent in that your near Colmar and all the amazing 16th century villages in the Alsace. Seb was a great host and was attentive to us. He checked in with us often to see how were were doing. Best of all, he let us check in early which allowed us to dump our bags and begin exploring. If we go back to the Alsace, there is no doubt we are returning to this wonderful home. Thanks again!"

Super schön!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in dieser tollen Unterkunft. Sie ist super ausgestattet, richtig schön eingerichtet und einfach toll. Die Terrasse mit dem Whirlpool war natürlich das Highlight! Die Kommunikation mit den Vermieterinnen hat auch super gut geklappt und war sehr sehr nett. Gerne wieder!

Les enfants ont même pu profiter du trampoline qui ne fait pas partie de la location et elles nous ont fournis du lait aux amandes pour notre fille qui est intolérante à la lactose !! On va garder précieusement l’adresse pour y retourner lors d’un prochain séjour
