A delightful location, well appointed accommodation and an excellent host.
We stayed for 12 nights until 14 March 2019. Very good weather and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and walking along the adjacent cliffs (with nesting storks) and through the nearby countryside. This is a delightful rural part of Portugal and the locals seem very friendly. A superb outlook from the house which was well appointed and we made good use of the wood burning stove which we needed at night.The cooking facilities were fine, the hot water supply good and the wifi very reasonable (at least at this time of year). Miguel was very attentive (without being intrusive) and provided an excellent walking map, plenty of firewood and advice when needed. We have no hesitation in recommending this as a quiet, scenic get away with almost all the facilities you would need. Perhaps a cafetiere, softer towels, more coat hangers and an iron would be worthwhile investments! Peter and Claire Coates, Northumberland, UK

Fantastic flat in a stunning location
This flat was absolutely lovely and we had a fabulous time in Odeceixe. Miguel was really helpful and gave us some fantastic advice about what to do while we were there. We visited in spring when it was still a little cold in the evenings and at night but the woodburner was wonderful at combatting this. I can't emphasise enough how amazing the beach is at Odeceixe. We want to come back! 100% recommend

Quiet, Rustic, Brilliant!
This is our first time to this part of Portugal, and we hope it won't be our last. The beach is absolutely stunning, as well as the fabulous views from the apartment - lounge and bedroom windows. Our host was amazing, adding complimentary touches to our anniversary trip to make us feel extra welcome and make our time there that much more enjoyable. If you are looking to get away from the summer madness in the Algarve, head here for some tranquillity and R&R! It's an easy 25 minute drive from Sagres/Villa de Bispo/Burgau. Pop in at the Gulli Bistro on the way, for a delicious meal. Loved it!

Strandapartment in Traumlage
Wir haben mit unseren 2 Kindern (3- und 6 Jahre) Anfang Juli 10 Tage in Miguels tollem Apartment verbracht. Architektonisch ist es durch Glasfassaden mit tollem Blick auf den wunderschönen Strand von Odeceixe wirklich gelungen und auch sonst sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Außer Odeceixe gibt es im Umkreis von 30 Autominuten zumindest 10 weitere Traumstrände, die trotz Hochsaison überhaupt nicht überlaufen sind. Restaurants gibt es direkt an manchen dieser Strände oder auch im durchaus netten, etwa 5 Minuten entfernten Ort Odeceixe. Miguel ist ein sehr sympathischer, unkomplizierter Gastgeber, der bei Bedarf immer erreichbar war und uns einige gute Tipps gegeben hat. Wir haben uns in seinem wunderschönen Strandapartment jedenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder kommen.

Geschmackvolle Wohnung in Traumlage
Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist absolut traumhaft und der Ausblick aus den Zimmern toll. Von der Terrasse sieht man auf das Flussbett, was auch ok ist. In der Umgebung ist nichts weiter los, das muss man mögen, aber wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Für uns die perfekte Unterkunft mit 3 Kindern.

...und jede Frage wurde sofort beantwortet. Miguel macht einfach alles, damit seine Gäste sich wohl fühlen. Geschmackvolles Haus in super Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Tudo óptimo, vistas incríveis do mar e do rio.
Passámos uma semana excelente, sempre bem junto à praia. A proximidade e as vistas para a praia e o rio, a varanda, o terraço tranquilo e principalmente as grandes janelas são os pontos fortes desta casa. A adaptação do andar de cima proporciona um espaço amplo onde se situa a cama de casal, e cadeiras confortáveis com vistas excelentes e acesso ao terraço. O quarto mais pequeno, com beliche é adequado para os jovens, e abre também para esse espaço comum, que é necessário atravessar para descer para o andar de baixo. A sala tem um excelente sofá. A internet é boa. A cozinha está bem equipada. Uma máquina de lavar loiça seria um excelente upgrade para familias que prefiram fazer as refeições mais por casa. O Sr. Miguel foi sempre prestável e simpático. O bar da praia, mesmo em baixo, é bom para refeições leves, principalmente saladas. Em suma, ficámos com vontade de voltar.
