「Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome. 」

「The only factor in favour for the hotel is the history and the period property. It needs sprucing up the exterior and somewhat the interior. Room can get hot despite not south face. Breakfast was too slow and so we left without having the main item , 40 minutes after entering.They wrote that breakfast is leisurely but it could be putting a spin on the low staffing.Reception personnel are not quite welcoming or service like..」

Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. Bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were supplied along with shaving and dental kits. Enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommned.」

「It was great value for our one night stay. If you’re looking for a location near the beach, train station and the bus stop to Ryde or Ventnor then it’s great. 「Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The lady assisting us to check in was very nice. She showed us around the hotel facilities and gave my kids swimming toys. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel had three swimming pool, one indoor and two outdoor. My kids really enjoyed the pool. In addition, the included breakfast was delicious. This hotel definitely deserves that we come back.」
