「Had a really lovely 4 nights at the inn. Owned by a really lovely and friendly couple. Room was a good size, with a big comfortable bed. Plenty of bedding and towels. You get to use a lot of the property as well as the room. There is a front porch, a back room with amenities for tea/coffee, fridge, ice, microwave etc. You can sit inside there or down the stairs where there is another fridge. There are two areas to sit outside as well under parasols. The inn is minutes from the town. I would stay...

「This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

「We stayed in the basement room (1 queen and bunkbed) which was perfect for our family of 4 with a dog. The room opens up to a big outdoor area, so it's extremely easy to to take the dog out. There was a small fridge and microwave so we had everything we needed for a night's stay. The only thing to know is that you have to go down two flights of stairs to access the room which may be an issue for some. Would definitely stay here again!」

Was there during a hot weekend (95ish) and was worried about no AC, but somehow the place stayed nice and cool. Would definitely stay there again」
