「Lovely hotel with shops and places to visit nearby. Small things like have a space specifically for guests to hang out or read etc separate to people using restaurant and bar would improve stay. 」

The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace. 「Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing how they upgrade the hotel after the January shutdown. We will be back.」

「Accurately advertised. You can literally see a mile castle on Hadrian’s Wall from your room. Beautiful country views. A problem with our heat was addressed immediately. Excellent dinner choices and service in the cozy pub. 」

「The ground floor apartment could have been cleaner and better equipped! The parking was tight, the upstairs neighbours were a bit noisy. The bed was comfy but would have been better if it was bigger as the rooms are quite spacious! Pet friendly.」

「room was great, pub was very nice downstairs too and staff were very friendly. The expedia booking site said that the hotel had parking, however this is not the case - not a problem at all and the staff helpfully directed us towards a very local car park (5 minute walk away). 」
