Peaceful cozy weekend getaway

We really enjoyed staying at this lovely cottage. The setting was very quiet. There were goats and chickens right next to the cottage that were quite entertaining. The wood stove kept the cottage warm and cozy. We stayed in the king bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and was very clean. We would love to return to this property.

Perfect Getaway

We love this property! This was our second time staying at this home. We love the location and the peacefulness of the grounds. The house has everything we need and we love that we’re allowed to bring our dog. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Wonderful farm cottage in Hellertown! The fresh eggs provided by the owner was a bonus. Actually had a moment to speak with the owner as she was feeding her goats and chickens when my dog decided to chase three deer that were on the property! Very friendly experience and will not hesitate to stay here again!

Warm and comfortable stone house in an awesome location in PA. Lots of things to do in the area. Highly recommend for Spring and Fall trips to the area.

I used to live in the area My daughters and grandchildren and family still are there. This was a perfect place to relax with the grandchildren and also the family dog was included in the fun..we are planning our next return and can not wait

Sweet cottage in Hellertown PA

We rented this Cottage while in town to celebrate our mom’s 70th birthday. The cottage is a wonderful place in a beautiful setting. Cottage is an open concept for the sleeping area which worked for us. It was a little awkward having the main bath off the small back bedroom. Watching the goats & chickens from the front porch was an added bonus and the fresh eggs our host left were delicious. I would definitely recommend the Cottage if your looking for a rustic get away!

Get Away

Nice little get away spot. Enjoyed a concert at the Music Cafe in Bethlehem. Went to the Allentown museum and Double Decker Records.

Great place to unwind!

We had a nice stay. Our dogs loved the property especially the chickens. We loved hanging inside with the wood burning stove and morning coffee on the porch watching the chickens. The cottage was very cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was very kind and generous of the owner/property care taker to leave us cut wood and fresh eggs every morning. I definitely recommend staying here and I’m sure I will be back with my family again.

Farmhouse Chickens and Lots of Land

Myself and my two Australian Shepherds enjoyed our stay. They had plenty of room to run and our host was very pleasant. We had fresh eggs from the chickens. I entertained my brother and his wife during dinner on Saturday, which we held on the patio. My long weekend stay was peaceful and rewarding. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Great short stay with the dogs

We stayed at Mark’s charming farmhouse and it was perfect. The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The bathrooms and kitchen were immaculate. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was open and well equipped. We loved that the host left us fresh eggs from the chickens next door. The property is beautiful, picturesque and peaceful. Being able to bring our dogs was a real bonus and they loved being able to run around.

Classic PA farmhouse

Brought girlfriend and daughter to PA to visit my mom in nursing home. Farmhouse was beautifully remodeled. Farm hand let my daughter feed the chickens and visit the goats. Beautiful stone buildings, grassy fields with deer. Spectacular home and setting

Awesome Farmhouse (built in 1821)

The location is great, just outside Bethlehem PA. The house has been updated on the inside and was quite nice. We loved seeing the chickens and there is a spring fed creek on the property. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the wood burning stove as well. Communication with the property owner was great. I enjoyed sitting on the front porch drinking coffee every morning. We highly recommend this location. We will plan on staying here if it is available the next time we come to the area. If i could rate it higher I would.

Beautiful rustic home on lovely grounds

Cozy home with excellent updates and rustic charming features. Comfortable couch, beds, covered porch with gorgeous scenery. The chickens and goats were a treat! As were the eggs. Nearby to hiking, colleges, restaurants. Plentiful towels and blankets. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable but the lack of doors and wood floors allowed noise to really travel in the spaces. We also had to go through one of the small bedrooms to access the full bathroom. The water pressure in the shower was on the low side, and did notice a little cloudiness to the water In general. Responsive and pleasant hosts.

The house was neat/clean, and the beds comfy. The setting was a bit too rural for us. The kitchen was not well equipped for cooking. The shower did not drain well, and we were standing in water. Additionally there were large bees.

Hellertown

Our stay was a nightmare.The house was very cold. There was a lot of cold air coming through the front door. We had to stuff plastic bags into the door frame.There was a rust colored sludge coming from the tub faucet. The hot water faucet fell off in my hand and water poured out, spewing water all over the bathroom. My husband had to go into the basement to turn the water off.We left a day early because there was no way we could stay there. Our Christmas vacation was ruined.
