"When booking, I missed that this hotel does not have air conditioning. I was traveling during August (what I consider the hotest month of the year). They do have a fan for you to put in the window to circulate in air from the outside, but to do so the curtains have to be open; you won't have privacy. I did happen to have a small fan in my car during the trip to have next to my bed, but I ended up not needing/using it since I got used to the temperature in the room. There is also no elevator. Other than those, Snowshoe Motel is a decent place to stay. The owner was great and accomodating when I let him know earlier that day I was running late for the check-in. The bed was nice. Breakfast had a nice assorment of things to eat. I would stay here again."
