“Room was clean but a little noisy. I would recommend staying on top floor.”

“This was a cute, quiet little hotel close to town but not right in the middle. The beds were comfortable. The staff was helpful. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! We felt safe! We enjoyed playing cornhole!”

“It was clean the beds were comfortable and staff was nice but there were things that needed fixing- toilet seat- shampoo holders - air conditioner worked but was loud- other people in hotel were loud- doors slammed- could have been better- could have been worse”

“No running water in either of our two rooms. Front desk left after check in no one help. No ice machine on any floor- toilets can't flush No internet Mgmt would not answer phone txt or email. Worst stay ever!!! Property needed update since 1950's. Room smells antiseptic Just ugh No one gro Property will reach out for refund thru expedia or answer calls.”

“Even though I checked in at 3 pm I was given a handicapped room across from the laundry room. I had to complain about the noise, as it was just like they were talking in my room. In the morning I complained about the handicap room and the lady said it was all they had. I don’t believe her and I think it was because I was older she thought she could get away with it. The room has no Kleenex and the soap is about the cheapest known to man”

“Eric was super helpful and we found this campground a delight! So close to Monarch and Salida, this was perfect for our snowboarding trip where we also wanted to enjoy town a bit too!”

“Very old, stains on carpet, not much room. For the price was not worth the stay.”

“The room was really nice and clean. The kitchen came with everything that we needed to make dinners and breakfast. It felt like it was the perfect spot between the hiking trails on independence pass, and visiting Leadville. The mining museum was amazing. The hot water only last about five minutes. However, I would still recommend staying here and I hope to come back.”

“The cleaning crew did a great job--our room was always clean and neat. The check in person was disrespectful and short tempered with the female person when we checked in. However, the front desk person was polite and courteous to the male person in the party upon check out. BTW the female person was the person who paid for the room. Breakfast was adequate but simple. The walls are thinning and you could hear other patrons most of the time in our room.”
