“It went fine ,but not as good as photo shows......”

“This cottage is centrally located for some great walks. It is located at the top of a high street with locally owned businesses and a CoOp. It is extremely quiet despite being next door to a pub and near the shops. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had everything anyone could need for a self-catering accommmodation. The washer and dryer were a big bonus!”

“Characterful thatched inn in countryside location. Comfortable room & good breakfast.”

“駐車場は入り口が狭すぎた”

“Lovely pub/restaurant with rooms in a picturesque small village. We had a great dinner and the service throughout our stay was fantastic (thank you Matthew). I wasn’t aware this was part of a chain at the time of booking but I shall be looking out for Butcombe Pubs in future.”

“Lovely quiet spot, great for having a drink in the garden after a day out. Pet friendly which was great. The dog was able to stay in the room and go in the bar too which was nice. Unfortunately the room was not very clean. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere. The skirting boards hadn't been touched. The bathroom was clean but not a deep clean level as there was dust and grime around the toilet. The towels were plentiful and clean. The bedding was clean but the divan itself had a stain as……

“Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.”

“Great room, great hosts, no complaints, even got a tour of the farm, so so lovely!”

“Hilary and Mark, mother and son were both very pleasant and helpful. Some good suggestions about different places to visit in the area.”

“If you want a friendly welcome good food .tidy room at a fair price this is the place to stop over, I was well impressed with the overall experience and if i am in the area i will use the Horton pub again.”

“Welcoming, friendly staff, clean and well maintained room and property, super comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner offered a variety of fresh cooked meals which were really good. The pub has its own car park too. Quiet at night considering the location in the middle of the village, great to have a window that opened in my bedroom with a decent blackout blind. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. A true hidden gem of local hospitality.”
