「My only real complaint is the main service can be very obtrusive early in the morning, and for a no-smoking facility the place always reeks of cigarettes and weed. And it's evident that there are people that are living there not just renting rooms per day. That doesn't draw a very good clientele」

There were many places to eat within walking distance and because they had kitchenettes, you could buy food at a grocery store and microwave food. 「Hanford House is an inn located on Main Street (Old Highway 49) in Sutter Creek. There are a limited number of rooms on the First and Second floors (maybe six?). Not a bed-and-breakfast inn, but the Element restaurant is at the front of the structure. Breakfasts are not included in the lodging rate. 「We were in Room 220. The door was ajar when we got there. The carpet was wet. The light by the door was very dim. I went to turn on the light by the bed and the nob to turn the switch was broken. The other lights in the room was for the bathroom sink and the toilet/tub area. I took the lamp from the bed area to the front desk and asked for another. There were none available. Maintenance came by about 10 minutes later with a lamp for the bedside and he noticed we did not have a desk lamp. He came...
