Home Away From Home
This rental is beautiful! If you have a small group this is the place for you. It's clean and tidy and has everything you need inside and out. We didn't get a chance to walk the trails on the property this time, but we have in the past and they are beautiful. We loved waking up and seeing the ponies in the pasture and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful surroundings. This is a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day hiking! We will definitely stay here again.

Property was very clean, spacious enough so we didn't even hear other guests until the end of our 5-day stay and I personally enjoyed the small things in the unit that made it feel like a home away from home (e.g. cooking utensils, pots and pans, and a few seasonings until I could make it to the grocery store). My daughter enjoyed the play area. Thank you, Norma and Phil.

Home Base for Hocking Hills
The property is beautiful. We hiked in Hocking Hills every day so we didn’t miss the tv access, (which the owner was upfront about in the listing). We had no problem receiving internet service on our phones through our provide (Visible by Verizon). I relaxed on the Hammock in the sun one day which was lovely. We would definitely recommend to others.

The Sunrise unit was perfect for our stay. Kitchenette had all the eating & cooking basics, beds & bedding were comfortable, bathroom was spacious & well-appointed. We spent most of our time at Hocking Hills, but will return to enjoy the beautiful woods, pool and grounds on our next visit!

Home away from home
The Sunrise Apartment was everything we hoped it to be. It was very clean and comfortable in a very quiet country setting. There is no TV reception but we enjoyed several of their available DVD's at night. We were greeted by their friendly outside cat several times and we loved waking up to the sound of birds singing and seeing the lovely sunrise! The location was perfect because we came to do some hiking at Hocking Hills. All the people we met in the area were very friendly and there are restaurants, yummy ice cream and gasoline near by. We would highly recommend the Sunset Apartment to anyone who is looking for a quiet get away while still having plenty of activities to do during the day!

Excellent rental! Super easy check-in/out. Very clean, comfortable and has everything you need. Absolutely gorgeous property with cute and friendly farm animals. The pool was very relaxing. Gas station, diner / creamery, and Dollar General a few minutes away. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Area Near Hocking Hills
We enjoyed our stay here. The property is 30-45 minutes away from the most popular Hocking Hills attractions, which was fine with us, as it was in a quiet, rural area. If you are not comfortable with driving one-lane or skinny two-lane roads with no shoulders, you quickly figure out the best routes to take. As mentioned in the description, Wifi is pretty spotty, and you may want to take the owners' advice and take a technology break - good advice when you consider the beauty around you. The fall colors really presented themselves during the week we stayed here, and it was fun to look out the window at sunrise and see ponies and goats playfully running around. We kept our food expenditures low by buying groceries instead of eating out, and the kitchen has everything you need to accommodate you. Clean, reasonable, nicely located and complete, I would recommend this unit and stay here again.

We stayed 7 nights/days in the Sunrise apartment, 3 adults, 2 children. We, and our Grandma who traveled with us, appreciated the privacy of the separate bedroom. There was a comfortable amount of room in the great room for our 2 children's cots and still be able to move around easily. We enjoyed the kitchen to be able to prepare our own meals also while visiting. The grounds are beautiful! The owners allow guests to walk their trails behind their home and visit with their cute animals. The ponies are very gentle and like to be petted. The property is nearby family and amazing activities which we were grateful to see and do. During our visit enjoyed visiting Flint Ridge, Butterfly Ridge Conservation Center, Alley Park "Frontier Spirit" , Fox's High Rock Petting Zoo, Ash Cave, Conkles Hollow and Hocking Hills Visitor's Center. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This property is SUPER CUTE! The land is gorgeous and the apartment is well maintained. Being over a garage I was pleasantly surprised that the temperature inside was nice and cool. There were nice notes/reminders around the place so I didn't have to keep referring to my emails, enough hot water to shower 3 kids/2 adults without running out (what a blessing, since I shower last!), a comfy cot for a 5th person (big hit with the kids!), a great above ground pool with floaties and toys, ceiling fans in both rooms, hooks galore (in living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom - so great for pool towels, bags, etc.), Netflix and HULU, and my personal favorite, a fire escape ladder under the bed. We all had a great time visiting Hocking Hills, and were so comforted to have this place to rest and relax. I would recommend adding a couple of minor things: chef's knife, bottle scrubber, more ice trays, kitchen towel (or more than one hand towel), chip clips, a map of the property, tub skids (soft water made it slippery when showering), and a small dresser or luggage rack. I would also like to have a way to recycle, but don't know if there is a recycling service in the area. Literally the only downside is spotty cell service and/or WiFi. There probably isn't much that can be done about that being in the country, but it did make keeping the kids entertained a little challenging. Nothing another trip to the pool couldn't fix though! Thank you so much for such a wonderful place to stay!

This rental was the perfect place for my friend and me. The grounds were well kept and peaceful to walk. The owners had several gated farm animals with babies that made the stay even more unique. The rental was extremely well kept and clean. Check in was a little confusing but we communicated with the owner and got it figured out. Location was perfect to Hocking Hills State Park which was our intended day trip location. The owner was very helpful with suggestions and directions too. Would definitely visit again.

I cannot express how beautiful this property is! We did a climbing tour in Hocking Hills State Park and did some hiking and this quiet location was perfect. The property is immaculate! The owners were so friendly. It was crazy hot when we visited so the pool was exactly the perfect thing to beat the heat! Our stay was better than we had hoped for! I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay close to the park who wants some quiet perfection.
