Amazing lakes retreat
Genuinely lovely 3 en-suite bedroom property in a location that could not be better for widespread and convenient access to the large portions of the Lake District. Amenities of Ambleside a 10 minute stroll away and a park directly across the road. Well appointed modern kitchen a joy to use with proper appliances and Sage coffee machine. Extremely comfortable lounge and plenty of room for all. Accommodation quality cannot be overstated here it is a fabulous property.
The slight hiccup of our week was that the property management company seemed unable to resolve a small issue we identified early in the week regarding a delivery to the post box and we left at the end of the week with this still outstanding despite several attempts from us to reach out. Hopefully an aberration but disappointing nonetheless.
Make sure you reserve a table at the Old Stamp House or it’s sister Kysty (both Ambleside) ahead of your stay, they are absolutely incredible. Buy a pie from Rattle Ghyll, stock up on walking gear at the Mountain Factor and get a Cumberland sausage from Garside butchers. Amazing town.
Do not hesitate to book this incredible house for your week, I can’t think there would be anywhere that even comes close!
