"I made a reservation to this property and paid for 2 days before check in through Expedia. When I arrived at 6:30 PM on check in day the place was closed. No one answered the door bell. No one answered the phone. No one even answered my message through the Expedia messaging service that I sent 3 days ago. The hostel is supposedly in a residential building near the bus station in Santiago. But it looks very sketchy. I even wonder if it’s a legitimate licensed place. I have never had such an...

"Wifi only made it intermittently to room. No introduction to facilities and services beyond which room key was mine so was left guessing. Was told dinner would be available to guests (restaurant on site) but then nothing on offer, with the place deserted except for folks in the bar who gave a pintxos with my glass of wine. Was not asked about breakfast until I went to check out and a coffee and small toast was offered in the bar. If the kitchen and other facilities in the albergue were available...

"Great modern apartment. Bed is two singles put together, and if you go to the middle it creaks. There’s too much light in the apartment when lights are switched off, from sensors and sockets. I like a room completely dark so struggled to sleep on my first night because of the light coming from the sockets and ceiling. Helpful host who’s just a message/call seay. "
