Nice clean hotel, small room but excellent facilities. Very small lobby, very good breakfast and hard working staff. Densely populated area. Again good vibes because of Golden Temple pilgrimage.

I booked using Expedia. However, communication with the hotel through this portal was poor as the hotel did not reply in a timely fashion and mostly gnored questions. Check-in and check-out was smooth and efficient. The staff at reception were polite and well spoken. The rooms were not set up on arrival to accomodate our 3 groups of 3. We had to ask for extra beds, towels and glasses. The safe was broken and needing fixing. The shower door did not close fully leading to water all over the floor. This was never fixed despite a request. Room service, otherwise, was excellent. Staff were polite. The rooms were cleaned and towels replaced on request. The air conditioning was good and kept the rooms cool. Our rooms had a view of a brick wall. This was, ofcourse, not mentioned on the hotel description. The hotel was generally clean. We did not use the dining facilities. The best part of the hotel is the location. It is situated only a few minutes walk away from the Harmandar Sahib Ji Gurdwara complex (Golden Temple) and is excellent if you want to wake up early to walk to the Gurdwara for Amrit Vela.

Location was spot on as literally 5 minutes walk to Darbar Sahib and shop/restaurants all within walking distance. Very good choice of breakfast. Only down side was no room with a view to either of the 2 rooms which had been booked in March 2026.

Best hotel in Amritsar

Best hotel, best location and best staff. I always prefer ITC hotels and I have never beeen disappointed. Location of this property is very strategic and everything you need is walking distance including the Golden Temple.

Check-in could have been better, we wasted around 2 hours, as it was peak season and there was only 1 lady staff at the Reception. The hotel is at a very good location for proximity to the Golden temple. The room was okay. Cleanliness was basic. Linen was weathered. Basically its a old hotel repackaged with some ITC goodness.
