This hos(t)el was really convenient for us. It is right in the centre and behind the red light district. If you are interrailing I’d recommend this at the start of the trip as the small rooms are SMALL. We had this as stop 1 and were glad not to be staying more than 2 night/at the start of our trip.

Staff is friendly and place has a great location — walkable to train station, metro, bars, restaurants etc. since is a shared space, bathrooms need to be cleaned more regularly and showers maintained more often as many guest are careless. Cubes are small so for short-medium stays for a single person is perfectly fine. The whole vibe is nice and there was no problem with outside noise. The complementary woven tote is a nice touch!

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel in Amsterdam was very disappointing. The room was noticeably dirty when I arrived, with dust, stains, and an overall lack of cleanliness that made it feel poorly maintained. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of housekeeping. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the staff. Several employees came across as rude and unhelpful when I raised concerns, and I felt like my issues were dismissed rather than taken seriously. Good customer service can often make up for problems, but that was not the case here. Amsterdam is a fantastic city, but this hotel did not live up to expectations. I would not choose to stay here again and would recommend that others look at alternative accommodation options.
