「Pros: We had a wonderful stay. The host was extremely friendly and gave us many great tips on places to visit, including Águeda, Aveiro, Costa Nova, and Barra, as well as recommendations for local restaurants and regional treats. The house itself was excellent, with a spacious kitchen, impeccable cleanliness, and a lovely patio. Sharing the pool with others was also very easy and comfortable.」

「Pros: The pool is amazing, and we loved sitting under the kiwi pergola. Our children really liked the pets (cat, rabbit, duck, and chickens).」

If you enjoy ‘historical architecture’, Carregal do Viriato is the place to stay. The neighbourhood buildings, narrow streets & cobblestone roads transport you to the past.Thank you Antonio & Eva for a memorable week, and we...

「Really nice place. Reasonably close to Aveiro. Close to grocery store. Quiet neighbourhood. Beds only had comforters, no sheets. Wouldn’t be bad in the winter but made for a hot sleep in the summer. Easy communication with hosts.」
