「We had a great stay at this historic hotel. Check in/check out was smooth. Great breakfast selection with hearty portion. Room is clean and bed is just the right firmness that you can wake up rejuvenated without backache. We also like how they stock plenty of welcome drinks and snacks in room to give us coziness to wind down in the cool weather.」

「Nice homely atmosphere. Clean, comfortable and Breakfast freshly cooked and served in pleasant surroundings. Come and go if you please and self cater if you want to. Sarah and her Mum are most welcoming and checking in and out was faultless. A great place to stay and would do it again. Plenty of space to park.」

「Hottest day in May on record and the heating was on in my room. After speaking with staff three times and an hour and a half later, I was moved to another room. In spite of the wonderful advert featuring a restaurant I was told no kitchen tonight. Second room was very noisy overlooking the car park which doubles as a camping ground for motor homes, with ten present. No mattress cover and a very dirty mattress.
