「Staff was nice room was clean & enough & easy parking」

「Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, good complimentary breakfast. Breakfast lady was very nice, kept the buffet well stocked and found me a banana-thank you! We usually stop in Gardendale but after our last visit there ( a disappointment) decided to drive into Athens. So glad we did. The Hampton Inn did not disappoint. Right off the interstate and close to the infamous Buc-ees. 」

「Evidently the rooms had recently been renovated, so they are in good shape. The shower was strong and invigorating. The breakfast was good (biscuits were hard, though). The major knock on the place is that the layout is old-school, that is, the rooms all open to the outside - no interior hallway. We’ve had bad experiences with motels configured like this, so we were a little tentative in staying here. However, no issues occurred during our stay!」

「This is the worst place I have ever stayed at from the smell of rat urine in the air conditioner to bugs on the floor dead bugs in the floor and in the window seal to sticky dirty floors and a nasty bathtub. Honestly, I should have taken pictures so that I could post on here. The owner also told me that he had to have a $20 cash deposit upon arrival which the website said nothing about and then when I went to leave and it was about 10 minutes after 11 because I dozed back off after getting...
