Lake stay
Loved how close to the lake it was and the deck was nice to just relax. The fenced in yard was also nice how ever some holes in the fence I wouldn’t recommend small dogs to be out there.

Best rental location
House is in the middle of the park and loading dock. Only house around. You can walk right down to the beach or walk along the trails of the park right outside the house. Amazing location and so close to the marinas. Owners were very responsive when we got there and couldn't find a hair dryer, they brought one over right away.

Awesome location and incredible scenery.
The house is very comfortable and spacious with plenty of storage. The location on beautiful Norris Lake can not be beat. The views from every room in the house are stunning. The fenced in yard is really nice for those with small children and pets. The house could use a few minor upgrades, but they are not anything that would keep us from coming back.
Overall stay was nice. A few amenities lacking that we are used to when we book through VRBO. Ie there was no spare toilet paper. There was no coffee filters for coffee maker. Other wise it was very clean and nice.
This place is very comfortable and spacious. The house provided all of the essentials for our stay. The lake views are beyond stunning. It’s so cool to be able to see the water from anywhere in the house. For boating purposes there are two marinas close by and a boat ramp across from the house.
The park itself has a lot to offer for all age groups, including a (in warmer weather) swimming area, playground, grills, covered pavilions, etc. At summer pool it would offer shoreline fishing. We also saw numerous deer throughout the park.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be returning to this location!!!
My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay at this house! The water is visible from almost everywhere around the house and a small swimming beach is seconds away from the front door. Sunsets and sunrises are gorgeous! And deer move about the park throughout the day. The house was beautiful and very clean inside with great use of the space. If I had one critique it would be that we did not think the beds very comfortable but the house was a great getaway and we would definitely visit again!!
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of the home!! The views at sunset and in the mornings at sunrise were absolutely breathtaking!!! The caretaker of the park is not intrusive whatsoever but is accessible when/if you need anything. With the location, cleanliness, and quality of the home, this little retreat gave us exactly what we were hoping for!!! We will be back!! If while you are here you would like to support a small, greasy spoon Mom and Pop restaurant, give Mamma Lisas Pizzareia a try!! Everything here is scratch made and was delicious!!!

Vacasa Home
I contacted them several times that the WiFi name was incorrect. They didn't seem to care said it was my equipment but nobody ever came out or helped us. We went the whole time with no music or tv or laptop access. They didn't seem to care. I spent a lot of money not able to do anything within the home.

Private, Remote Cottage with Stunning Lake Views
Clean, modest and very comfortable accommodations. Loved the cottage's location on the Norris Lake peninsula. We had beautiful views of the lake, wildlife and surrounding park.
Also very appreciative that the cottage was pet-friendly. The laminate floors removed any worries that our dog would damage its surfaces. In addition, the cottage had a sizeable, fenced-in front yard that our dog loved to play in.
We were also pleasantly surprised at how spacious the cottage was. A very efficient, livable floor plan. Another plus was the clean, well-stocked kitchen. We were able to effortlessly prepare our Thanksgiving meal there with ease.
We would have given this property 5 stars if not for the security issues. The cottage was in a very remote location...eight miles off the main highway, accessed by a steep, winding mountain road. Unfortunately, the cottage's front and back doors contained windows which could easily have been broken to access the dead bolts. We would recommend installing a heavier, windowless door to make the property more secure. The park that surrounded the property closed at dusk. Unfortunately each night of our stay, we noticed at least one car parked suspiciously in the public area after the posted hours.

Wonderful location.
I loved the activity of the park during the day, and around 6 or 7 we had the park to ourselves. We saw a herd of around 20 deer that included several fawns, (fun watching the fawns play). Lots of geese settled in the lake close to us for the late evening and stayed till morning and came back each night. The fenced yard was so much fun for my dogs. The area is well lit a night and we had no human visitors to the park after night fall. The cottage was clean, roomy and nicely furnished. We will definitely be back as we loved the area and everyone we met in the park and in the town of Clinton were some of the nicest people we have ever met. Everyone was helpful giving us details of the best areas to visit around Norris Lake.
Admittedly, we didn’t spend too much time in the cabin - as our family owns a cabin close by, this was booked for extra beds essentially. However, having come to this area for years and spent time at the park, we’ve never noticed this cabin before and we’re pleasantly surprised with the incredible location and quality of the amenities. The best part is the location, with water views on both sides, easy walk to swim area and more importantly for us - the boat launch and dock area, which provided easy access to get to and from our primary cabin/ rest of the family. I highly recommend if looking for getaway spot is great location and comfortable home A way more spacious than it looks from outside. Would use again and hopefully spend more time at the cabin next time. Powerful AC and fans were an unexpected bonus, slept comfortably all 3 nights.
This was a great place for us to stay while attending our grandsons' baseball tournament. The house was exceptionally clean and even though it was in a county park with boat ramp access, it was very quiet. The house is a modular home with very nice, practical furnishings. Our only problem with the furnishings was that there was no king bed in any of the bedrooms but we knew that in advance. The home sits on a rather secluded lot with only a park employee residence nearby. At night there was plenty lighting to feel secure. We had two small dogs with us and the large chain link fenced yard was exceptionally convenient and was clean If you are looking for a place that is not fancy but is a very comfortable and clean, safe, country place with plenty space, this is it. It is off the beaten path but still close enough to any convenience and is only about 20 minutes off the interstate. An issue with this stay was the high fees charged. We are very conscientious about the cleanliness of our pets and keep the property clean, however were charged what we considered very high pet fees. A deposit would absolutely be a better option. In total all the fees charged were considerably more than the actual rental charge. A very small issue was some difficulty in reaching the property management which apparently is only by message, however, response was then almost immediate. This is a beautiful, clean, great place to stay and were the fees slightly lower a great value!
