"We stayed here for a ski trip to dodge ridge, and I am glad I found this place. I took this trip with four friends, and everyone having their own bedroom was great. Everything was clean, and the kitchen was stocked. Having a place to cook breakfast was very nice. The HVAC was good, and the pellet burner helped keep the upper level toasty. "My wife and I stayed at Apache Pines in September for hiking and site seeing, and again in February to ski at Bear Valley. We like the house and its location and are likely to stay there in the future. Parking would be an issue in the winter if there are more than two cars. The lower level of the house has a bedroom, bath and family room which are great if traveling with kids. There is no master suite, the two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. This is a great place for a small group or family....

"My family and I stayed at the cabin for 4 days during my daughter's winter break. It had everything we needed to manage the little ones, cook, relax, and have fun. There are many forest roads about 100 yards away for a morning hike. The local grocery was very close and convenient. The space is nice for a family with little ones. There was a creek running behind the cabin that the kids enjoyed walking down and there was a private lake with a playground that we got to explore."
