"As always, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. They accommodated me when I asked for a later checkout time, and were able to answer my questions re: bus fare/times. It's really convenient to be able to catch the Airport Express bus on the other side of the street from the hotel and be taken (in a roundabout way) to the airport. My room was spacious and had a view of the harbour and of the NSCAD building, but there was hair from someone else's stay on the shower wall and I noticed on my last day that the bedsheets had stains on them. Also there were a lot of extension cords just laying on the floor around the room; perhaps necessary because it's an old building and there aren't enough outlets, but it looks bad."

We also appreciated their valet service, and responsiveness of all levels of staff. Truly wonderful experience here and will definitely return."

"We stayed here as part of a group for a dance competition for 6 nights. The price and location were amazing. The staff were courteous and kind. The restaurant (Gio’s), bar and room service was great. The rooms are a bit dated but they’re super clean, spacious and the bedding was so comfortable. The pool, sauna and hot tub were a wonderful way to unwind. I’d definitely stay here again. "

Our only difficulty was calling the Halifax Moxy front desk (talking to a human) to confirm our reservation a week before arrival. We were never able to reach the hotel & talk to someone. Human response is still appreciated in this "AI world.""
