The room was so comfortable and charming, and the owners are super friendly and helpful. I would most definitely stay here again - highly recommended!
Beautiful property. Probably the best bed and breakfast I have ever stayed in. Lovely neighborhood, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Stone Chalet. It’s very convenient to UM, breakfast was amazing, and so much thought was put into the little details all around the property.
Such a wonderful place! We stayed in the 'Neverland' room and we thought the crib took too much room. Hard to maneuver around it! Otherwise our stay was very nice!
We loved our stay at the Stone Chalet. The room was really comfortable and gorgeously appointed and the breakfast was wonderful. The owners and staff were so friendly, we would definitely return.
This is amazing place. It feels like holiday. The house is decorated very traditional way. We felt like we traveled 100 years back in time. The have breakfast menu and prepared customised meal. The house is very clean. The staff is extreamely polite and friendly. There is a self checkin and checkout. We felt like we are at home.
Rooms were cleverly themed, staff were delightful, breakfast was spectacular, situated in a lovely neighborhood. Check-in was a bit confusing (Expedia apparently does not interface well with this venue), but a lovely stay.
I liked the way rooms, all house are designed. Breakfast was delicious. Also the care was very nice. Thank you for having such a nice place and hosting us.

Nice property in a wonderful location
The house was beautiful, clean, quiet
Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very nice
Loved the stay
Absolutely magical place, the photos didn’t do my room justice. The attention to detail is incredible, with everything in the room “just so”. The hosts are so attentive and accommodating, making sure I had food before an early morning flight. I can’t wait to stay again. When was the last time you felt that way about a stay in a generic corporate hotel?
Quiet neighborhood street, street parking, less than two miles to U of M campus, convenient, friendly owner and staff, fireplace in my room. Lost power for almost 24 hours during my stay, still had great breakfast and my room was heated by the gas fireplace. Many locals were staying here bc their own homes were out of power. Good breakfast!
Unique property, old stone lodge. Free parking in front. Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Fireplace in room. Great last- minute 1- night staycation for us. Felt welcoming.
Great location for exploring Ann Arbor. Staff very friendly. Bed is comfortable and the room quite clean. It is my second stay here, and I will be back again.
Owners have done an awesome job with this place. I was thrilled to find this b&b to stay for my night away in Ann Arbor. We it’s is right down the street from downtown . Breakfast was Phenominal!! And they let u pick as much off the menu that you want. Everything was incredibly clean and I’m a fussy cleaner. I couldn’t find a speck of dust. You walk in to a story book here , literally, as the owner has all the rooms themed and decorated as if u step into that story. You’re missing out if you don’t stay here !!!! Forget any hotel you’re looking at and book here. It was quiet too ! I can’t wait to go back.

In the Garden Room the bathroom sink does not drain properly. In the morning it takes much too long to get hot water for shaving.
We loved everything about our stay. Great room, beautifully decorated. Great bed. Strong coffee in the morning. Amazing breakfast. Stone Chalet is a treasure!
Wonderfully quaint and comfortable! The grounds and area are beautiful within the city of trees. Great breakfast and conversation with staff. We will be back!!
A fantastic bed and breakfast with all the charm of an older home that is tastefully updated. Enjoyed our stay and loved being able to walk to restaurants and u mich campus.
The room was beautifully decorated in a Wonderland theme and was very clean. The staff was so friendly! The breakfast was very good and provided a lot of options. I will definitely stay again!
I don't generally seek out B&Bs because I like my privacy and space. However, I will be staying at the Stone Chalet again. I arrived well after midnight due to flight delays and found the self check-in procedure to be very manageable. The Chalet is beautiful and the special touches everywhere were so inviting. Breakfast was hearty with a seemingly infinite number of choices. I had the option do dine apart (which I did) in their spacious dining room although others were able to socialize together. Wonderful!
Little girl lives in the bldg, can hear her cry for momy, is charming part of your stay if you like kids and don't mind this kind of thing.

Dear guest, thank you for staying with us in our private home. Sometimes our 3 year old looks for us as we are running around doing business. Most of the time she is in school or helping us or playing. We hope families feel welcome staying in our property and welcome all those looking to have a comfortable stay in this lovely property in centrally located Ann Arbor. Kind regards, Daisy
Our room was cozy and well-appointed, the breakfast was delicious. It was an "introverts delight" as we saw and heard no other guests or staff on the property except a greeting at breakfast. Check-in was via email instructions. We stay in BnBs to meet people and learn new cultures so it was a bit odd not talking with hardly anyone on the entire visit.

Hi Caroline, thank you for staying with us. The reason you hardly saw anyone was because we get very slow after the 4th of July and you were 1 of 3 guests in the home. With 15,000 square feet sometimes you get plenty of space to yourself. Also with Covid we tend to not put a lot of people together at breakfast as many people are still quite cautious and some even like to eat outside or in their rooms. The check-in process makes it easy for people to come and go as they please as we do not want to limit a check in time and there is a lot to manage for such a large and active property with weddings, parties, guests and other logistics. Thank you for your understanding and I hope next time we can provide you a better experience. End of July and August we are quite booked, tomorrow we have 27 guests at breakfast.
This old-castle like house was so unique and cozy. The breakfast which we could choose the menu from what they offer, was amazing. We really enjoyed staying here.
