We had a great stay at Absolute Paradise. The host was very helpful and even brought over a cot when our teenagers didn’t fit on the one pull out sofa. Something to note is that there is only one pull out sofa, not two, like the one post said. The location of the house is the best quality. We parked our car and never used it again. Pine St shopping and various restaurants are right there. The beach was also down the street. Definitely would stay again.

Comfortable beach home

We enjoyed our long weekend at absolute paradise. The home is represented accurately online. Anna Maria vacations was great when we had a few initial issues at the house. Very responsive. Be sure to bring any cooking staples as there are not any cooking ingredients, spices, etc. in the home.

Great Family Space!

House was perfect for my family which included adult children and grandchildren. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone! Management company was very nice and responsive. Only tiny recommendation I have is to add more kitchen pans for large groups.I highly recommend this home!

Wonderful House & Location!

We had such a wonderful stay at this Anna Maria Island House. My husband and I traveled over with his brother and S-I-L and we stayed 3 nights. The house was bigger than we needed for only 4 people, but we like to have space and spread out. This house certainly had enough space for us. With 2 primary suites, there was no fuss over the "better bedrooms". We always like having at least one extra bedroom in case anyone has trouble sleeping. The house is very well appointed and tastefully decorated. We had unfortunate chilly weather while we were there, so we didn't get to enjoy the outside areas, but the pool and decks on the house are amazing. AMI is very walkable from this house to get to restaurants and shopping. We all have scooters as well which we brought along and did a little scooter tour of the island. We love also driving south to see the other areas and beaches. You can see the whole stretch of towns in a short drive. You can't go wrong with this gorgeous house! Beautiful rooms, comfy beds, very clean, lots of room to spread out, gorgeous outside areas, great location! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it for couples and families. The manager was very responsive. We didn't need a lot because the house was so great, but when I sent a text with a question they responded immediately. 5 Stars all the way!

Paradise in Absolute Paradise

Family wedding at Sandbar Restaurant. We had multiple generations staying together. Everyone had their own space and we shared communal space. House was spectacular in location, cleanliness and size. Pool and spa were greatly enjoyed, as were all the decks. Really liked having beach chairs and towels available for use, along with wagon to transport to beach. Great place to relax in Anna Maria, close to beach and many restaurants, bars and shopping.

Very basic for the price.

We were 9 family and friends staying for the first time on AMI. The house comes with literally no provisions, just a small pack with some detergent. No basic ingredients to cook like salt or oil, empty fridge, no coffee or tea, etc. meaning we had to drive down to a store, having driven 4+ hours from Miami. Such lack of basic provisions is something we have never seen anywhere else in the world. Another thing we've never seen are the tv remote controls are all attached to furniture with a metal cord, like people might steal them! The swimming pool area was not very clean. The games in the garage were incomplete. Sofabed was disgusting. Furniture is all old and worn. Not even a broom to clean the floors. Positives: good size property, lovely pool, comfy beds, great location to walk to beach and local restaurants.

Great Family House for All Ages

We loved staying at this house. More than enough room for our crew and just a short walk to the beach. The kitchen was a little lacking in utensils and the freezer was slow to make ice, but we managed just fine. Overall, had a great stay and was wishing we could have booked a longer stay.

SPACIOUS, CLEAN, CLOSE TO BEACH

This house was so nice, clean and spacious! The furniture was comfortable and great quality! The pool was heated, clean and it was such a private little oasis back there - great seating for patio too! We had our children with us and they loved sitting on the balcony on the hanging egg chairs! We could walk to restaurants, a little convenience store, boutiques, ice cream shops and THE BEACH! Highly recommend- will be coming back!!

Absolute Paradise, minus the bedding situation

We had a wonderful week as a family at this property! The beds and furniture overall need a makeover desperately, but what can you expect out of a busy beach rental? Overall, we would put this place at a 10 out of 10! Upon arrival we had several maintenance issues such as light bulbs out, toilet handle not working, refridgerator door that was broken and the kitchen trash can that would come off and on track easily. We reported them all and literally within minutes of sharing, our problem was resolved and by the kindest maintenance tech Tim. We truly appreciated his willingness to help and personable nature! The pool in the picture is accurate, but not open to the sun any longer. The foilage has grown and the lot next door is no longer an open lot, causing the pool to be fairly shaded. We spent most of our time at the beach however, so not a big deal. We love Anna Maria, and yet again we had a wonderful vacation! Thanks so much!

Disappointed

The house was in the perfect location. The couches were stained, broken and torn. Chairs were dirty, dining room chairs were white but seats were black, tvs were not all working, cracked tile in kitchen, leaks in ceiling over table, one bed had a large dip, and my son called about no Xbox and it was never delivered. It was a lot of money spent to have so many issues. Called to discuss hole in ceiling.

Dirty and furniture was falling apart and appliances barely worked and there was a leak in the kitch

Property was a great location but the property management team was unresponsive and the house was filthy. Furniture was falling apart and most appliances did not work. Pool was great!

Great location but needs TLC

Great location decent house but needs some TLC. Needs updating, repairs, and a major cleaning. Patio furniture needs replaced and more added, deck railings need power washed are moldy, clothing dryer needs replaced ruined several articles of clothing. Had a leaking faucet that began leaking through roof into garage. Leaking ceiling after heavy rain in a bathroom. Moldy shower curtain and decorative pillows in one bedroom. Living room couch/bed and loft couch/bed need replaced had to rent roll away beds. Patio pavers around pool need secured loose and broken around hot tub. This was our second time staying in this house last time was 4 years ago much has aged and needs replaced. The location though is excellent with some time and attention it could be 5 stars again.

Great Location

Great location. House is near many restaurants and a very easy walk to the beach. Pool and hot tub were amazing. Most pools on AMI are very shady but this pool did get some sun. Hot tub heated up very nicely. We had 11 people with us, 6 adults and 5 teenagers and we had plenty of room. The large kitchen table was great for cards and dinners. The floors in the entire house were dirty. Maybe the cleaning people forgot to do them? Layout of home was great with 2 bedrooms and and 2 baths on each level. Would absolutely stay there again.

It was a great location you could easily walk to either side of the island and close to trolley stops. We had a Great time and was able to do several service projects while there.

House is in need of repairs

The location of the house is perfect. The room layouts were fantastic. The positive beach vibes stopped there. This house is in desperate need of repairs and good clean. Out of the all the properties my family has stayed with through VRBO, we thought this one was the least stocked with things in the kitchen to cook with and the dirtiest. The couch was gross and needs to be replaced. The faucet handles kept falling off. They did not even provide a sponge to clean with. The TVs did not work. There was a rat in bbq grill (which had food from the last family still in and around it). Piles of trash in front of the house. The house needs a good clean.

This property is in a great location! We really enjoyed the proximity to the beach. Overall, the house is somewhat adequate for a group of 14 but really only sleeps 11. There is a pull out bed for an extra 2 people but this would not be comfortable for a week's stay for sure and there is another couch pull out that might provide a sleeping area for one person but the same is true. The bedrooms are nice but there are very limited linens and towels. The main living areas and furnishings are not well maintained and at a minimum. There is limited seating and areas to gather with only a worn loveseat (one of the pull out beds) and 2 chairs in the main living room. The kitchen is bare with minimal necessities for cooking and storage and barely enough plates, silverware and glasses to serve a group of 14 that it promises. The overall necessities and furnishings are in definite need of an upgrade. The house was not cleaned well prior to arrival - the floors were not at all clean. It would help if there was at least a door mat to first wipe feet off when entering the home.

Great home in a wonderful, safe location

This very large and well appointed home is in a perfect location in a lovely community near everything you would want for a wonderful stay on the island. It is only a few blocks to a cute coffee/bakery for your morning coffee on the way to your morning walk along the miles of the softest sandy beaches you will ever experience. Every other day, in the other direction of the home, we would go to the community center to the gym to work out, which was great too. Also , nearby is an easy walk to the Main Street for all the shopping and little restaurants you would like to visit. The home has many nice large bedrooms with TVs and well equipped bathrooms. And every day we swam in the warm pool and had many hot tubs. The backyard is very private with the large trees and bushes. We really loved our stay here and would recommend this home to other visitors. When we arrived the barbecue had no gas in the tank, so we filled it up, so there is lots left for the next visitor.
