"Generally, we had a good time. The staff was friendly, the room was spacious, and the poolside bar was nice to have nearby. The buffet breakfasts were as good as we expected. We always make the best or every trip we take, and we had a rented SUV that we used to explore the island. We saw every site one could visit, including Point Udall, a tour at the Cruzan Rum Distillery, Rainbow Beach, Fredericksted and Christensted. We liked Christensted very much and had dinner at Savant. Fredericksted was just ok, but we had dinner at Rythms at Rainbow Beach; that was nice! The boardwalk at Christensted was nice and had many shops and restaurants. We also visited Cane Bay and had dinner and a nice sunset at that beautiful spot.
However, we arrived at the site on Sunday, I saw a golf cart at the entrance which had an out of order sign on it. It was still there on Wednesday. The staff was friendly, but when I tried to reserve a table at the restaurant, Tuscany Italian Restaurant, I was informed that it was closed and had been for a month or more. They had another restaurant, but it was a buffet style dinner. On our first day, the swimming pool had no clean beach towels, and the staff was unable to provide them. I had to drive into town to the Cost-U-Less to purchase my own towels so my spouse could enjoy the pool. The beach at the resort was not usable due to seaweed. And the fitness room was not very clean, although I was able to obtain beach towels there most days.
We will not return."
