“What I loved most was bc this was a quick 3 night stay from STT to STX, I couldn’t bring much on cape air, what I couldn’t bring, this lovely host surprisingly had all the essentials I needed to make my stay comfortable and had a lovely time on her home island. “The home was very clean and well equipped. The host was very helpful and always prompt and pleasant. It was definitely a welcome and stay. Close to the boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants and for those who like to cook and eat in there are markets near by. There are two wonderful porches to enjoy morning coffee and fresh fruits or tarts as well as meals or drinks and dessert in the evening. It is very peaceful with a lovely view.”

“This house is in a great location between a good grocery store and Christiansted. My wife and I arrived on a later flight from the US, which meant that we were 'cutting it close' after stopping for groceries and getting to the house before dark. As is typical of Caribbean islands: driving directions (esp. for the 'last mile') to the house are a little bit sketchy. I submitted an addition to Google Maps (download them ahead of time so you don't need cell service) for the house number. Time will……

“Hosts Barbara and Mike were always available to answer questions or to see to our needs. Mike was at the rental house when we arrived, showing us around and explaining how things worked. Every room was clean and appealing, with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen was especially well stocked and incredibly organized, which was a treat for the cooks in our group. Except for some street noise (which, if an issue for anyone, was easily blocked by closing windows), the location was serene and……

“The food and drinks were great. Bar staff are kind & fun. They seem to truly enjoy their jobs. The bees were an unfortunate thing everyday, and it seemed like there were no attempts to make that situation better— specially with it being the only open bar. The seaweed smell took over the place. We tried to play pool one night, but it was very humid & didn’t seem to have ac in that area. We also walked over to the gym, which is down the street and found a lot of the machines don’t work.
