“First off, we end up killing two flying roaches during our stay. Secondly, the phone was out the entire stay. I had to contact front desk via cell. Thirdly, we had no WIFI the first day. We finally got it the last stay. Also, no cable until the last day. View was nice from balcony. I would also point out that front desk could be more attentive and inviting. Maybe my expectations are too high being a Marriott Owner.”

“False advertising. Nothing portrayed in The description was accurate. Only 2 restaurants and a small coffee shop. Not 6. Could not get food passed 9 pm in either one. Nor drinks passed 10. Activities non existent No beach access as it’s full of seaweed. The smell is horrendous! Various places in the facility are run down and deteriorated. Everything was very clean and the staff was excellent! That’s about the only thing this place has going for it!”

“I love staying at the Ritz in st Thomas. More than anything we enjoy the employees. They are always helpful and make the trip worth it. I traveled there 2 years ago and I noticed several cut backs and things that they could improve on. For instance the serve the same food every single day for breakfast potatoes, bacon/sausage and eggs. They need to add pancakes and French toast because the food gets boring. The have different options for the lunch/ dinner snacks but again not very family kid……

“We really enjoyed our stay at Buoy Haus. The property was well kept and felt upscale as we had hoped. Our room was very clean and the entire staff was always friendly, helpful and polite. We saw some staffing issues with staff not showing up and previous staff having to stay late or work a second shift etc. We definitely felt horrible for those employees since they work so hard, and hopefully they are able to work out those kinks in order to keep the great staff they have. “My day was fairly excellent. If you are doing a solo trip, I highly recommend this place. Only if you are looking for a place that is quiet and peaceful with not much people and or activities. The staff did tell me that they are more active on the weekends for me, I went during the weekday so that could be why things were very mellow, but I don’t dislike the fact that it was very common chill because it made the whole trip and experience relaxing so again if you’re looking to do a solo trip or……

“If you want a resort feel where the beach is pristine and the pools are warm, the cafe serves lobster and the staff are Amazing, this is where you want to stay. It’s not the “newest” resort but the amenities are great. Could not have been happier with the staff and food available on property. Free snorkel equipment and kayaking available. Over all will go again.”

“So we were disappointed. It was not as expected from the pictures. Let me start by saying, it is a great location for restaurants, shopping and if you’re going to use the ferry, which is across the street. However, the hotel is very old and it’s run down. You can tell they tried to renovate some things. The pool was clean. Our room looked ok nothing fancy, but the floors were filthy! Our sink was clogged. The shower wasn’t hot hot but it was fine to shower in. The staff was friendly and check in……
