Royalton Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort
10/10 Excellent

Buccaneer Beach Club
10/10 Excellent
"This is our third year staying at the Buccaneer Beach Club. We love everything about it, including the location, cleanliness and service. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it!"

The Escape at Nonsuch Bay - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"This resort is for Honeymooners or really elderly ppl. The rooms are the only selling point. The inroom pool and tub are a very nice touch. There is no nightly entertainment after dinner everyone has no options but to go back to room. The bar closes at 10pm. The 2 bartenders Charles and Kandra were friendly. The Waitress Ivanna and the girl that does not wear a name tag had a attitude non attentive.Asking for water falls on deaf ears. There is only 1 restaurant so if thats the ONLY fops option they service should be better. The Chef is Great food was good. We had a 7pm dinner reservation the mosquitoes were biting and we were eaten alive for an hour only appetizers were delivered and the waitress had an attitude. I inquired if the Kitchen was backed up.. No response. We left at 8pm without getting our entrée.At 8:51pm The Chef called our room to apologize and delivered our dinner to our room.I appreciated that. The Chef did a Great job with the food each night no complaints there. He was annoyed and stated someone should have a said something.. The resort is far from EVERYTHING..It has potential its not Ocean front and there is NO real Beach. Theu shuttle you to a lil bay for 4 hours but its NOTHING to do there was no watersports activities. Taxis are very expensive $100 RT to get to real Beaches. I would recommend nightly entertainment at the main pool and bar open later. Even thou ppl are on vacation not everyone wants to be in bed by 9pm."

Royalton CHIC Antigua, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort – Adults Only
8/10 Good
"Beautiful, clean & modern property with nice rooms, comfy beds, beautiful beaches, nice pools and amenities. My only complaint is that there were constant shortages of food and alcohol, in all bars and all restaurants on the property (example mojito ingredients were rarely available and desserts/mains not available on menus at speciality restaurants. I have addressed this issue with guest services for hopes of improvement."

Cocobay Resort - All Inclusive - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful time at Cocobay Resort. This place is perfect if you just want to relax. It looks like a small tropical paradise. It is well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was very good. Our cottage had an amazing ocean view, and the plunge pool was a nice addition. There are several beaches in the area including the one that the resort is on. All in the walking distance. We really liked the Ffryes beach with its white sand and turquoise water. The only downside was the unreliable Wi-Fi. We kept losing connection, but it is an island, so it is something to be expected. Other than that we don’t have any complaints. Overall, we enjoyed it a lot more than the cruises. We will definitely go back."

The Verandah Antigua - All Inclusive - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"The facilities were in very good condition, with the exception of some of the accessories for using the game facilities as the pool cues were not in good shape and the table was a bit off balance. The shuffle board pucks were broken when we arrived but were replaced later in the week. Staff was nice for the most part a few of them were a little bit less friendly. Some went above and beyond while a few seemed like the simpliest request was too much for them to do. An example when I asked for a drink that was on the menu, the bartender said she would have to make the lemonade for the drink, and I said OK make it. She did not want to make it and asked if I would drink something else. But most were very accommodating. I have been to other islands and different resorts and the biggest difference I noticed was at other resorts I have been to the staff was all over the place waiting on the customers and asking if you needed anything. There were times it was difficult to find a member of the staff. Occasionally, there was no one at the bar or at the restaurant to take your order."

Jolly Beach Antigua - All-inclusive
2/10 Terrible
"This property is extremely dated had terribly maintained. The customer service was shocking with much of the staff surprisingly hostile to guests and just not interested. The attitudes were simply unacceptable for any industry never mind the hospitality industry. The staff need better support and training in hospitality. The location of this ancient hotel with its beach accessible was one of only two positives (the beach is a public beach hence accessible to all called jolly beach - so can be accessed even if not guests). The other positive was the long bar in which Jay and Patrick provided exceptional service. Even they however could not make up for the rest. The gym was dated with old equipment including two non-functional treadmills. In fact dangerous as the one that works suddenly stops causing incidents as you’d crash into the control panel if jogging. Reported it but staff didn’t care and made dismissive comments. The gym has no water nor towels. Wi-Fi was patchy in the resort (none in the gym). Yet they are happy to charge resort fees for the provision of services that don’t work. Rooms are small and full of issues with something or another not working. Very noisy staff shouting and carrying on as if guests don’t matter - this affected rest periods too. Sadly can’t recommend this report for anyone trying to enjoy Antigua."

St. James's Club Antigua - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"Staff was FANTASTIC!! Can’t say enough about how warm and friendly and hard working at least the staff I interacted with were . The resort is lovely if you aren’t looking for an extravagant amount of things to do and to just relax. They do however have excursions for additional fees. If you are looking to just lay on a beach, this is not the resort for you. The view is beautiful from a beachfront room however, you can’t go and walk on to it and lay nor go into the water. There is a bayside of the resort that offers a small area to be able to go in to. The main pool was a little small but we were lucky to be visiting on a slower week. We also did not know there was an Adults Only section. This I will keep in mind for future consideration! I would like to point out that Riaan the GM was absolutely HANDS ON & very interactive with everything & everyone! Very refreshing! Overall it was a lovely time so thank you!"
