Lovely property. Remote yet well situated for driving to many areas. Tricky to find if arriving particulerly at night as not signposted. Car is essential. Lovely views of the white mountains and surrounding area. Walking distance ( uphill 10 mins ) of a traditional cafenion in the local village of Maza offering warm welcome and traditional home cooking. Villa is beautiful simple well designed and equipped with all you need for a peaceful and comfortable stay. Host Gregory is hospitable, responsive and contactable when needed. Gave us some great recommendations of things to do. Would certainly recommend for those wanting to kick back and enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by nature

Lovely secluded villa

We had a lovely week, although the weather was unusually stormy, we were so grateful to be staying in a beautiful villa up in the mountains. The kitchen was fully equipped, not a utensil missing (there is normally something, but not here). The host was marvelous and provided us with many useful recommendations from points of interest, to wonderful eateries. The garden and grounds were stunning, with pomegranate and citrus trees surrounded by flowering plants. I highly recommend staying, especially if you like quiet and privacy. Main towns of Chania and Rethymno were about 30-40 mins drive away. Both are stunning and well worth a day trip.

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. Its the type of place you don't want to leave. The host was amazing, any thing we needed was provided. We would definitely stay again.
