"A lovely, homely cottage. Very comfortable stay with all the home comforts. Lovely bay and the tide goes right out. Great base for oban and the ferries. Good local restaurants and a handy little shop in Port Appin. We really enjoyed our stay"

"The hotel was spotless, cosy, staff very friendly especially the Italian barman. The food tasted great and views were stunning! I loved the outdoor area and surrounding grounds are fab! You can go down to a beach area or go a woodland walk. The only thing I feel could improve it further would be to have a little bit bigger option for breakfast. Oh and more haggis in the Balmoral chicken so that I could actually taste it but other than the food tasted amazing! "
