「Be aware that for this hotel, you’re paying for the room and not the experience. The hotel itself is really cute, staff was so rude and unkind and unhelpful. I checked in with my daughter, staff was indifferent and unwelcoming , I can totally get past that and move on with my and my daughter’s little getaway even though it was disappointing. 「This place was most excellent and relaxing. There were 7 of us (2 adults 4 young teens and a pooch) and the house was perfect. A very easy walk to the beach (tip cross over the bridge for easier access) which was less than 10 minutes away. A few options for food/coffee in town (next to beach) made it easy to augment our beach picnic fare. Up the street (5 minutes by car) is a strip mall with a Safeway, ice cream parlor, taqueria, etc. If you have desires to leave Aptos, SC and Capitola are 10-15...

Owners have provided everything you need and extras like beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and cart to wheel it a short distance to beach!! Beds comfortable, updated appliances, kitchen stocked!
