Characterful? Or just old and in need of modernisation?
To each their own opinion..... for me it was the latter. Very dark and musty in some parts of the house and very uncomfortable beds. In its favour, it’s very close to the local river beach.

La maison de nos rêves
Cette maison ancienne en schiste avec vue sur le rio Alva nous a enveloppé de bonheur. On part se baigner à pied à la praia à 300 m et on part faire les courdes et boire l'apéro à pied à 500 m au village. Belle ballade à pied pour aller à Barril d'Alva Nous n'avons pas eu le temps d'aller à Gois ni à Piodâo, il faut au moins une semaine pour tout faire.

Casa muito agradável, nada de modernices, muito funcional, com tudo o necessário para passar umas férias agradáveis. Uma Sitio espectacular, bem localizado, tranquila, boa paisagem, relacionamento um pouco limitado mas suficiente. OS miúdos adoraram a casa. Um agradecimento especial à Jan pela sua simpatia, apesar de falar só pelo telefone, espero voltar e que da próxima tenha o prazer de a conhecer. Thanks very much

Excelente estadia
A casa é bonita, muito bem equipada e serve bem para 6/7 pessoas, tal como anunciado. Fica bastante próxima da praia fluvial mais próxima (cerca de 5 minutos a pé!) e muito próxima também do centro de Côja com bares, cafés, restaurantes, talhos, clínicas, farmácia, etc.
