"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. "Lovely hotel, in a stunning beachfront location, with a private beach. Wonderfully attentive staff throughout the hotel, in particular Anna who worked around the pool, and in the restaurant in the evenings was fabulous. The buffet options in the main restaurant were pretty good for breakfast and dinner. And the other restaurants - which you pay extra for, had truly delicious food.. in all of them as. Despite the hotel being full, it never felt busy. Evening entertainment could be better, the singer we saw a couple of times unfortunately was not the best. All in all a fantastic stay!"
