“Definitely historical. There are so many updates that could be done to this hotel without disturbing the history though. Our room had fixtures like a shelf above the sink that was falling out of the wall, the bathtub was not able to be used except to shower as there was no plug for the drain, just little minor things to update the rooms.”

“The room was nice but bathroom could have been cleaned better. There was hair on the bottles of shampoo and body lotion. The pool area needs some help”

“It was not a very good place to stay. It was not clean. The staff was railroad. There was no towels in the room. There was no refrigerator in the room. There was no microwave in the room. There was people hanging out, asking for money on the property with their pants hanging down to their ankles. I said something to the staff about it because I had little girls with me and she said oh well he’s just trying to get something to eat. It wasn’t the part about him asking for money. “We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The cabin truly felt like home after having a long day of adventures. All of the small details and thoughtfulness put into this cabin added so much charm and warmth. We couldn't see the stars due to all the rain and clouds over the weekend, but the view was breathtaking. The farm fresh eggs and snacks that were provided made the experience so special. We can't wait to come back and make more memories! ”
