“Our daughter goes to camp in Mentone. This cabin was a perfect place to stay the night before “drop off”. Very helpful staff and super clean!!! My only hesitation in writing this review is I don’t want too many people to find this letter gem (wink wink)”

“While the house was very nice it was not functional for 6 people. One 3 person couch and 1 table that seats 4. The kitchen had 3 plates and 3 bowls and minimal silverware. No utensils except for bar-b-que. 1 towel/washcloth per person allotment per day. Therefore had to do laundry every day. VERY narrow and STEEP driveway. Neighborhood looked concerning but we had no problems with neighbors. Definitely need earplugs to sleep because of the trains. ”

“Our stay went well and the space was more than enough for what was needed. The bathroom was lovely including the nice showerhead and fluffy towels! Kitchen space was great and we could have cooked meals easily if need be. The few drinks and such in the fridge were a nice touch, as was the wine and candies left out to welcome us. The few sticking points, of which I would like the host to be aware, were as follows:-the TV was difficult to use, with poor connectivity that caused problems with using……

“I honestly hate leaving a bad review because the host was really nice. However, the property was not clean, the grill was not functional and it overall did not meet expectations given the price. The bed linens and pillows are very cheap. I did send photos of the grill to the host. I looked back on reviews after booking (I know-should have done it sooner) and someone noted the exact issue with the grill as I did. So it is a bit frustrating that it hasn’t been corrected. The cabin could be so……

“The cabin had everything we needed to have a quiet stay and relax. The location was perfect and the sounds of the river out back in the morning was amazing! Loved every minute of it!”
