“The room was filthy with bugs in the bathroom, by the sink on the counter I had to clean it with Clorox before my grand daughter an I brushed and wash our face before going to bed. Then we go to take a shower it was horrible I had to use a hand towel to put in shower for both of us. As my granddaughter was stepping out of the shower there was a bug which I was able to get it and throw it outside. I then took pictures bc the bed I felt the springs as I got up next morning I noticed stains on the……

“The room was very clean. Towels, television, coffee were available. The bathroom was beautiful. Temperature of the room was comfortable and I was able to adjust if needed. The bed was clean and comfortable. All around a beautiful place to stay.”

“It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter. Didn’t know that until the day we left……
