“We stayed in the Kings Chamber, probably the coolest room I’ve ever stayed in. Views unbeatable, outdoor shower was liberating and the private treehouse and swing in the trees was the cherry on the cake. Don’t expect the service or facilities of a 5* hotel- this is a guest house (ex private residence, but feels like it’s plucked straight out of a movie). when the staff are around they are very attentive- they helped with our bags and cooked us whatever we liked for breakfast. “I debated writing this review because part of me wanted to gatekeep this place… but who knows when we’ll be back in South Africa? Atlantic View Hotel delivered hands down the best service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I didn’t want to leave. The bed was unbelievably comfy, the view was stunning, and don’t even get me started on the breakfast, just wow. Every single staff member was so friendly and welcoming. We had the best time and will 100% stay here again when we return to SA.”
