“The chalet was clean and comfortable and in a lovely peaceful and picturesque location. However we did have a problem with the bathroom door as lock was lose and on occasions we couldn't get out of the bathroom or in if the door was properly closed. “Great little cottage in a very small village. Close to amenities and local shop has everything you need. Waterfall Close by which was a bonus whilst walking the dog. Nearby railway and very picturesque walks. Cottage itself very clean and tidy has a log burner 2 beds 1 large with ample room entry to 2nd through first. Host went above and beyond as wife's birthday and arranged flowers and bubbly for our arrival. Had a great 5 day break and would recommend to everyone wanting a nice quiet time……

“A home from home! A tasteful and very welcoming semi-detached cottage that is in a great spot to explore Snowdonia and the North Wales coast. "The view is absolutely beautiful. The overall hygiene was ok, with a small bit of stain on the sheet remaining. However, there was one used instant coffee packaging left, probably due to carelessness of cleaning staff. The worst issue was that the shower was completely not working but the hotel gave us this room knowing that there was a electrical failure for the shower. Although the staff was really polite when we raised this issue in the morning, it does not erase the disappointment at night. The toilet also did not work properly, the flush was extremely weak. There was no way of contacting the hotel at night to sort out the shower issue and the reception runs from 3pm to 6pm instead of 8pm as stated here. Would recommend if those management issues were fixed."
