Wasn’t expecting to have an overnight stay but the price with breakfast included was too good to refuse. Once arrived at the hotel, there was very friendly staff and an affordable dinner with good options. Room was comfy but admittedly elderly furnishings. But, breakfast was beyond expectations with a full cooked & continental included. Would recommend!

Lovely old hotel

This hotel has a fantastic chef who prepares meals to perfection. The hotel is conveniently situated to the beach. Also good for exploring the peninsular. Old fashioned but quaint and I would recommend staying here. Easy parking. Friendly staff.

A short Break.

This was my second visit to The Lion. The hotel offers excellent service at a very reasonable rate. The staff are friendly and the food on offer is very good and at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel, great base to explore Llyn Peninsula

We were very impressed with the Lion Hotel in Criccieth. It is in a great position with plenty of parking. It is a traditional character hotel, clean, well maintained and decorated with lovely staff. It was also great value, would recommend as a base to explore the beautiful Llyn Peninsula.
