「I love this hotel! It’s clean and super safe (they have a security guard at the gate). The staff is helpful and welcoming. They can help you find restaurants, get a a taxi, even just answer questions about Tanzanian culture. Most speak very good English. The owner is onsite almost everyday and really nice. It felt like a home away from home. Don’t expect anything fancy though. The rooms are comfortable and clean but not luxurious. The top selling point is the atmosphere, which you can’t get at...

I utilized the rooftop bar, the pool and the laundry service. The property and rooms were very clean and comfortable! The food and drinks were good and the chef was nice! 「Very friendly and hospitable staff. They greeted us with juice, personal introductions and help with luggage upon arrival, and even washed our car overnight! Excellent cooked breakfast including omelette, crepes, and fresh fruit. We had a bit of trouble getting there due to Google maps sending us on a roundabout route (very narrow dirt road) when we should have gone straight from the main paved road to the front entrance. Overall, a pleasant overnight. 」

「We were taking the shuttle bus to Nairobi and we were picked up at this hotel. Very clean but the amenities are sparse: 1 towel, 1 bottle of water, 1 soap, no shampoo. Bathroom needs attention, no lighting above sink, faucet turns at base when turned on. Hot water for shower is a plus.」

「Not as shown in pictures. Low key creepy… There was no free airport pickup (as suggested)—we had to pay. No running water, no toilet seat, bugs in the sink, no electrical outlets and very cold. We were also asked to pay twice. On the positive they fed us a nice breakfast. 」
