“Askot Cottage was amazing! We definitely wished we had stayed more than one night. Directions were clear, property was well illuminated, and entry was easy. I appreciated the fact that each cottage has its own EV charger and washer/dryer combo. We also had a great view of the northern lights during our stay! ”

“Unser Aufenthalt war wirklich wunderbar – es sind keinerlei Wünsche offengeblieben. (es war schon der zweite). Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet, liegt in einer schönen, ruhigen Umgebung und der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus war für uns besonders praktisch. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war ausgezeichnet – stets freundlich, aufmerksam und angenehm. Besonders begeistert waren wir außerdem von der Sauna, dem Dampfbad und dem Hot-Tub, die unseren Aufenthalt noch entspannender……

“A really amazing property and possibly my favorite of our week long trip. We were only here one night, but it was perfect. The view was incredible and the space very clean. My only very small and easy to fix complaint was that all the amenities weren’t listed or were unclear. There is nowhere very close to eat or get groceries so we planned to only have a kettle. When we got we had a set up for an electric cook top, pan, and some other things. Also, it wasn’t as clearly listed that we would have……

“The rooms were lovely, the food hall and communal spaces were all very nice. The breakfast was pretty good, we just needed to ask if anything needed topping up after a busy morning rush, but the staff were always helpful and happy to do so!”

“Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast. ”

“It's away from the city but easy to reach. The room is pretty big and everything is comfortable. We visited the stable the day after we checked out. what a fun experience with the Icelandic horses. and the breakfast is nice BTW.”

“Overall was great but the hot tub was not hot enough to go. They can upgrade their breakfast. Not many choices. ”

“An amazing place to stay after a long, adventurous day relaxing in the sauna and hot baths is the perfect way to unwind. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options and is a fantastic start to the day. Complimentary coffee, cookies, and fruit available throughout the day are a wonderful bonus. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommended.”
