"I loved everything about this property and my stay, other than the mattress, which was worn down and had a permanent indentation from being overused and not replaced. The continental breakfast and bag of complimentary waters upon arrival were stellar. "

"Our understanding was that this hotel was in very poor condition before the current owners purchased it. By far, this was one of the nicest, most comfortable and quiet hotels we stayed at on our trip. In fact, we stayed a second night after setting up in our room and seeing how wonderful everything was. The setting was lovely, and the food, both at the morning buffet and in the dining room in the evening was yummy."

"It was so charming and the breakfast in the ballroom was so lovely. We loved that it has been renovated to its original glory, and felt like we were thrust back to 1891 when it first opened but with modern amenities. Well done on recreating the charm of this historic hotel. We could only check in at a lter time so the parking area in the back was already full. No worries as we were able to park on 2nd Street. "

"It was an enjoyable stay. The rooms were clean. The staff seemed a bit quiet. But answered questions we had. It was too cold to try the pool or hot tub. But would definitely return to the quality in. "
