"The property was in a lovely quiet location, beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Great communication with owners Matt & Abby and very welcoming when we arrived. Location was perfect for exploring Somerset, we visited several National Trust places and the north coast neat Dunster. Lovely weekend away, would definitely stay again and highly recommend."

"Really great place to stay for large group get together, we had 6 adults and 4 kids staying at one point and it didn’t feel crowded at all! The place was really clean and the grounds and amenities were really excellent. We met one of the hosts and he was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone to go for. A stay ! Lovely and quiet and a great base for day trips to cheddar, wells and only an hour or so the coast and Bristol."

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "

"Found this lovely property on line and it’s a truly lovely place, it’s quite secluded but had easy access to Taunton, the gardens were really lovely and the place was very clean and comfy, I can recommend staying here, the only negative would be the lack of Netflix"

"Photos and description don't do it justice. What an absolute delight and beyond. Furnished like a show flat but it's the little detauls that really make this: the cotton buds/pads in the bathroom, cereals in the cupboard, milk and yoghurt in the fridge... But also the often overlooked items in reviews like the shower - great pressure and heat, towels were big, fluffy and robust, more than enough hangers in the wardrobe.... "We had a lovely two night couples break at Kimbers Farm. The shepherds hut is so comfortable and just the right side of luxury rustic! Possibly the comfiest bed I’ve slept in away from home. "Decent property for a single night stay with a family. Hard to find in the dark and no parking, though on-street parking and car parks are available locally. Three bedrooms with a small kitchen and wet room. Nowhere specific to eat as a family but small tables in each room were fine. Had to phone on the day to get the key code. This could be made more obvious - or the owner could communicate more proactively. "

"Three close friends stayed in 2 Bishop Mews while being in a choir "in residence" at Wells Cathedral for a week in July 2024. The place was perfect - great location in central Wells, walkable to everywhere we needed to be. Clean and spacious, with the everything we needed. There is a washer for clothes but not a dryer. You will love this place!"

All hours of the day people are rolling laundry crates passed the room and on a Wednesday, the laundry lorry turns up at 7am and loads unloads for an hour. Lovely!! "We stayed 2 nights in all (1 night unexpectedly - we decided to stay in the area longer than we planned). No complaints at all. Air conditioning would be good, though, as room was quite hot even with the window open. We only had breakfast here, so don’t know what the evening food/menu is like. Breakfast was tasty. You do have to book a time to eat. Good base for Bath, Wells, Cheddar. Would definitely stay again. "
