Great stay and management made it so easy to extend the stay! We’ve stayed in this location before and it’s always clean, parking is easy and it’s a great location. It’s a go too on a quick trip!
It was in a nice location for exploring Ashville, the Biltmore, the vinicity around Ashville as well as close to Whole Foods. The place was clean and well kept. I also liked that there was a coffee shop in the same building, as well as being able to walk to several places. We had a great visit!
We had a great girls weekend here! Nice place to hang out between activities and loved being able to bake a pizza and watch a movie when we wanted a quiet night in.
This place had everything we needed for our stay. Very clean and accurate description. Location is great! The bakery and restaurant downstairs are amazing. I highly recommend bone and both (make sure you have a reservation). Highly recommend staying here.
Great price for location and photos are 100% accurate for the 3rd floor unit we rented. King bed was a treat, as was the City Bakery and Bone & Broth restaurant on ground floor. But 1600sf in description is likely a typo; more like 4-or-500sf and the bathroom is tight. Place is spotless and everything is stocked and in working order. You can walk to middle of downtown shops in 15mins. As VRBO owners ourselves, we can say we'd stay here again.
Great location with restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in walking distance. A quick 15 minute walk to downtown Asheville. Easy drive to different hiking opportunities. The space was updated amd clean with clear and accurate instructions. Having a parking space was great. Would absolutely stay here again!

Reviewer Comments:
Great location in a quiet part of town but that is still within a walking distance of downtown and many local restaurants. Very clean and well kept property. The management staff was responsive to all of my questions.
Nice little just outside of downtown apartment. Bathroom could use more storage (shelf over the roomier and medicine cabinet for example) for personal toiletries. The carpet squares also move under your feet because they don't stick so maybe a rug instead, but overall a perfect place for two adults to stay on getaway to Asheville.
Bathroom needs some work, kitchen, living area and bedroom are just ok. Old building and floors are sloped. Needs a rug in the living area, not squares.
Bathroom needs some type of shelf and to install a toilet paper holder! I would not stay here again
As craft beer lovers we we have always loved Asheville for the sheer number of breweries within such a small geographic footprint. That said, many new places have sprung up recently and we wanted to be able to walk to them so that we could enjoy their products without driving a car.
This place is about a mile north of the main downtown and maybe another half mile further to the South Slope brewery district. Perfect location! When you need a bite there is no shortage of creative food offerings around the city including a bakery and a nice restaurant on the first floor of this building.
The space feels like a corporate, one bedroom apartment. Everything you need is there. We made our own coffee in the morning and set out for the day's adventures. Really it could not have been a much better fit for us.
The place was clean and convenient to attractions in and around Asheville. Know that there is no elevator. The bakery downstairs is great for coffee, breakfast and lunch. We were in unit 7, and there were no surfaces to place toiletries. In fact, the bathroom sink was too small to so much as wash your hands. Had to use the kitchen sink for all brushing of teeth, washing face, etc. The floor sloped, but that was not a problem. If sleeping in the bed next to the wall, getting in and out of bed required scooting in and out. The bed was comfortable. Our stay was O.K., but expected better for the price.
The apartment is a pretty standard place and for the money I think it’s a good price. But seriously the location of this place is amazing. Not necessarily a walk to downtown, but I very quick drive (less than 5 minutes). And we loved the bakery downstairs. Woke up Saturday morning and just walked downstairs and brought it back to the apartment.
Cons to the place: bathroom sink. This may seem silly but I can not tell you how much my fiancé and I continued to complain about the bathroom sink. It was the smallest sink I’ve ever seen. Like actually didn’t know they made sinks that small and on top of that, the water didn’t have a steady flow so when you turned on the faucet, water went absolutely everywhere. The owner supplies you plenty of towels which we used a lot of to just clean up the water that kept spraying out of the sink.
Overall though, the location really outweighed any negative and the place was nice and clean with a comfortable bed so what more can you really ask for.
Such a wonderful space. Updated unit absolutely great location. Really easy to access from the highway. Walkable to some great restaurants, coffee and downtown. The hosts communicated clearly. Zero issues. Would absolutely stay here again.
Apartment was small but clean and convenient to food and shopping and Biltmore Estate. Had the best hamburger from Bone & Broth that was just downstairs.
We stayed on the third floor for a long weekend and will, definitely, consider going back when we are in Asheville. It is a relatively short walk to the downtown area, and the unit itself was clean and tidy. I recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to downtown. Essentially every restaurant that we visited and many of the attractions that we enjoyed were within walking distance. We were pleased with City Bakery, a quaint and dainty little bakery just steps away from our apartment. It was fabulous.
I do recommend modifying the description. We DID NOT have mountain views and felt a bit let down by that misrepresentation, but every other aspect was spot on. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay!
Perfect for what we needed for a 3 day, anniversary trip. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Easy parking and accessing the building and apartment. A bit of a walk to downtown, but not bad. We walked to and from 2x and got an Uber back one night ($8). Safe area. Cafe downstairs was perfect for a quick breakfast. We went to Bone and Broth on our last night, which was super convenient to pop down stairs for dinner (reservations recommended) and dinner was so good! Had no reasons to contact property mgt., was all handled via email/app. Would definitely book again!
Beautiful place, although pretty tight quarters for a family. Very clean with charm--both the building and unit. Close enough to walk to downtown, but still have space.
Great and unique historic property in a very walkable community. Only suggestion I would make would to improve lighting in the kitchen area if possible. Looking forward to our next visit to Asheville!
Very cool renovated apartment building that sits above Bone n Broth restaurant (worth eating at), and City Bakery (wonderful coffee and breakfast sandwiches). The apartment itself is small but CLEAN and has a big comfortable bed, all you need when visiting Asheville because limited time is spent in the room. It’s located on the other side of highway 240 and proper downtown Asheville but it’s a quick 10-15 minute walk across the overpass if you want. We did this twice and enjoyed it. The Taco Temple up the street is AWESOME.
