“Our shepherd hut in Pinewood was spotlessly clean and refreshed every day. Staff were always on hand if needed and really helpful at checkin (the process for checking in and out was seamless). Marshmallows, skewers, logs for the indoor and outdoor wood burners, and upmarket tea bags all complimentary; only let down by basic Nescafé coffee sachets and pots of UHT milk. A small fridge would be useful to allow for proper fresh milk and keeping drinks cool. Beds were comfy and the separated bunk……

“We had a mixed experience during our three-night stay. On the positive side, the staff were the highlight of our trip. From the cleaning team to the restaurant and pub staff, and even the security, everyone was incredibly friendly and chatty, which we really appreciated. The location was also convenient for visiting local shops and restaurants. However, there were several issues that made our stay uncomfortable. I barely slept because the gas bottle attached to the caravan was extremely noisy.……

“Becky is an amazing host, met us on our arrival to make sure we were happy with everything or had any questions and helped with bags! Our stay was very enjoyable - seclusion of camping with the luxury of hot showers and the outdoor bath. Our kids loved the hammock. Baby cows in the field made it for us! Easy ramble to village store/cafe and two pubs.”

“Great caravan everything you need for a comfortable stay”

“The reception were not that helpful when they found out that we didn’t booked thru them. The caravan had everything we need to make our stay comfortable.The beach is 3-5 mins from the reception and 15-20 mins from the caravan.It was a bit tricky to get to as there’s not much road signage.One thing that we loved the most our stay is the heating ,water supplies and towels provided plus the hoover.It would also be nice to have a hair dryer .”

“We left early due to how uncomfortable the beds were. They was full of springs and our backs felt bruised from it. There was broken seals on the windows. The windows had gaps so it was so cold and a handle was missing on one window. Alot of the curtains were beginining to fall down. The blinds had mould on them but more shockingly so did the pillows! The carvavan had been completely neglected and needs a lot of love just to make it feel somewhat comfortable. We would not return nor recommend……
